The next few months are going to be so fantastic. We've booked two different week-long cycle tours (camping and cheap hotels, one in Washington in June, the other in Oregon in July), a week of cat-sitting Alf, another 4 day backpacking trip in the mountains somewhere in BC in August, another extended long weekend of fun yet to be determined over Labour Day, a 5 day trip to the Oregon Coast in September, two separate Whistler autumn weekends (one for the Fondo for D, one for a Mud Race for me), and then 5 days in New York in October. Christmas holidays also yet to be determined, but the plan is to take 2 weeks and get the heck out of town.

But New York. I can't believe it. So surreal. Paris, Rome, London, yeah yeah yeah, but New York is different. Ida know, maybe it's not different, but it's huge and evocative and I've never been to the east coast of the states.
